Joshua A. Whisler, Esq.

Joshua Aaron Whisler founded The Whisler Law Firm, P.A. in 2016,  after gaining years of experience in the field of property insurance law with a large South Florida law firm. Mr. Whisler graduated Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law School and was editor in chief of the International Citator and Research Guide.

Mr. Whisler is cognizant of the complicated process of insurance claims and litigation, and to this end, his clients can expect to receive  professional individualized attention,  as he works tirelessly to provide them with a positive outcome on their claim. Mr. Whisler works with the utmost integrity to provide his clients with ‘small firm’ care and ‘big firm’ results.

Mr. Whisler is a strong advocate for the policy holder in cases against property insurance companies,  and will aggressively fight for his clients to ensure a timely and favorable settlement on their behalf.


Anthony J. Aloneftis, Esq.

Anthony J. Aloneftis is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has resided in Florida since 1968. He is a highly respected trial attorney and has received verdicts, in excess of one million dollars. Mr. Aloneftis has been a practicing trial attorney for over thirty-six years. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Florida Atlantic University and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern University. He is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association and Brain Injury Foundation. Mr. Aloneftis is a Florida Supreme Court certified Civil and Appellate Mediator.

During his spare time he writes poetry, for which he has been published and enjoys travel. He has had the privilege of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and going on safari in Africa. He is a devoted father to his two adult children.


Jacob Korman, Esq.

Jacob Korman is a 2008 graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. At Brandeis, Mr. Korman majored in Philosophy and History and minored in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies. Mr. Korman then attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City where he graduated in 2012. Mr. Korman then worked for Deloitte where he specialized in complex tax structuring. Mr. Korman then followed his family into commercial real estate. After realizing his true passion laid in the practice of law, Mr. Korman transitioned back into the practice of law with the Whisler Law Firm. Mr. Korman is admitted to the New York, Illinois and Florida bars. In his spare time, Mr. Korman enjoys cycling and exploring new restaurants in South Florida.


Daniel Hernandez, Esq.

Daniel Hernandez is a first-generation Cuban American attorney licensed to practice in the State of Florida and the Southern District of Florida Federal Court. Graduated from Florida International University with a Major in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology; he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law with participation in the Pro Bono Honors Program. As a bilingual attorney fluent in English and Spanish, Daniel has experience in various fields of law including: Criminal Law, Foreclosure Defense, Immigration, and Bankruptcy; but currently focuses on Insurance Law at the Whisler Law Firm as our Lead Attorney.
